Perhaps you remember what we wrote about Reynvaan's 2021 Merlot or their 2021 Syrahs. Quick refresher, just in case: the most memorable Washington Merlot we've ever tasted, and the best vintage of Syrahs we've ever tasted from Reynvaan. Now apply that kind of vintage strength to a sub-$40 Cabernet-based Claret and a sub-$30 Syrah. Thirsty? Excited?

Plush and wonderfully textured, layered with ultra-dark red fruits, coffee, cigar leaf, and some of the same spice box accents that made us misty-eyed for the Merlot. This is outrageously tasty and at this price should be gobbled up by any/all Washington red fans. 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% each Merlot and Cabernet Franc.

Life's too short to drink bad wine.

We taste as much or more Oregon wine in a given year than anyone on the planet. We look for the needles in the haystacks, the wines you won't find in your local wine store. Wineries have long sought our help to sell their most limited, unique bottlings.

We are picky. We like to sell wines that we like to drink. We refer to taste the wines sell over several days; we want to know how a wine will evolve, how it pairs with food. We want to know if it truly belongs in your cellar, in your glass, and we want to provide you with guidance on how and when it'll be its best.
