Yes, the Willamette Valley Chard is great. But this really made our heads spin—it's an awesome Chardonnay, from a vineyard we've long enjoyed, for a price that flatly made us say, "that must be a typo; that 2 must be a 4." The texture is heavenly and as Kelley notes, the tones are all gold. Wowwowwowwow! 

Kelley Fox: I love the Durant Chardonnay so much that when the opportunity arose in 2023 to increase its production, I jumped on it. The 2023 is a radiant, light sunshine yellow with shining, pale gold tones and is brilliantly transparent. The nose is very fresh and filled with layers of creamy citrus. The mouth continues the mixed citrus with some noticeable structure along with soft minerals. The 2023 has beautiful texture and a lasting finish with a hint of pain grille that balances the fruit.

We taste as much or more Oregon wine in a given year than anyone on the planet. We look for the needles in the haystacks, the wines you won't find in your local wine store. Wineries have long sought our help to sell their most limited, unique bottlings.

We are picky. We like to sell wines that we like to drink. We refer to taste the wines sell over several days; we want to know how a wine will evolve, how it pairs with food.
