95 points Wine Spectator, Hot Wine: "This impressive Pinot is polished and detailed, offering dynamic flavors of raspberry and blueberry, with mineral and brown baking spice hints that build richness toward fine-grained tannins. Drink now through 2035." 

That's huge press from Spectator for a sub-$40 Willamette Valley Pinot and it has us betting on a spot in their Top 10 (our track record for picking these is pretty darn good). Whatever happens, here's what we know for sure: if you've not checked out Cristom's Pinots recently, you are missing out. Winemaker Daniel Estrin has brought a newfound elegance and polish to Cristom Pinots and we love it. 

The '23 vintage represents a record: a whopping 77% of Mt. Jefferson comes from Cristom's famous estate vineyards Eileen, Jessie, Louise, and Paul Gerrie. The remainder comes from neighboring top sites in the Eola-Amity Hills. Spectator picked up on the beautiful polish of this and you will, too—it's gorgeous already and will continue to be for a decade. Exceptional value!

We taste as much or more Oregon wine in a given year than anyone on the planet. We look for the needles in the haystacks, the wines you won't find in your local wine store. Wineries have long sought our help to sell their most limited, unique bottlings.

We are picky. We like to sell wines that we like to drink. We refer to taste the wines sell over several days; we want to know how a wine will evolve, how it pairs with food.
