Avennia's Gravura is their Bordeaux-inspired blend, and a go-to of ours for several vintages running. It shines especially brightly in the cooler 2022 vintage, showcasing the harmony of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot expertly blended. 

It's leads with savory black cherries, red plums and currants, melted milk chocolate, graphite, violets, and grilled herbs. Fresh, balanced, and supremely food-firendly, it's more red fruited than black, lingering with accents of cocoa powder and river rock. Decant with dinner for drinking now, or stash for a couple years+.

50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc from some of Washington's oldest and finest vineyards: Bacchus, Red Willow, Dubrul, Dionysus, Weinbau, Boushey, Avennia Estate, and Champoux.

The name is a play on an artisan printing technique, and on the Bordeaux region of Graves, which features similar blends to this one. This wine is designed to be generous and voluptuous in style, while still remaining complex and balanced.

Life's too short to drink bad wine.

We taste as much or more Oregon wine in a given year than anyone on the planet. We look for the needles in the haystacks, the wines you won't find in your local wine store. Wineries have long sought our help to sell their most limited, unique bottlings.

We are picky. We like to sell wines that we like to drink. We prefer to taste the wines sell over several days; we want to know how a wine will evolve, how it pairs with food.
