It has everything that the best Willamette Valley Chards have—fruit, texture, balance, mineral drive, age-worthiness—it just looks like someone switched the price tag. 

Juliette Chardonnay 2022 represents a full circle for Erin. When he began making Haden Fig in 2008, his Chardonnay was aged only in stainless steel. But Erin wanted more—bright, balanced Chardonnay plus the textural richness from barrel aging. Now, all Haden Fig Chardonnay are aged in barrel and with the 2022 Juliette, the circle goes round again—after 14 months in barrel, Erin put it back in steel for 2 months before bottling, which has become a technique utilized by the Valley's best Chardonnay makers, of which Erin is clearly among the handful.  -Marcus

We taste as much or more Oregon wine in a given year than anyone on the planet. We look for the needles in the haystacks, the wines you won't find in your local wine store. Wineries have long sought our help to sell their most limited, unique bottlings.
