Sequitur is one of the most exciting young vineyards in the entire Willamette Valley. Situated next to Beaux Freres's Upper Terrace and, not coincidentally, owned and farmed by Mike Etzel, it's a different horse in the stable compared to the other Walter Scott wines. You can't tame that Ribbon Ridge fruit--why would you want to?!--so just hop on for the tasty ride. Welcoming in its aromas and flavors, Sequitur will reward those of us who like to get into their Pinots right away (we're looking at ourselves in the mirror). - Marcus
Sequitur exemplifies classic Ribbon Ridge fruit, revealing notes of cherry cola, strawberries, violet pastilles, coffee, moist cedar, chanterelle mushrooms, and forest floor. The wine has a delicately textured and juicy acidity, layered with sour pie cherries and cinnamon sticks, yet the wine softly envelopes the palate with a long and complete old vine finish. - the winery
