Us: Wow, Ken—you've outdone yourself. Just when we thought you had achieved the best expression of Freedom Hill in last year's Pinot, you give us this! Ken has a magic touch with coaxing a more refined character from Freedom Hill and in '23 there's even more to love, including some of the brooding, fleshy Freedom Hill-ness guest-starring with the brighter, prettier Pinot that Ken pulls from the hat. Goodbye, socks, this blew them off.

It boldly unravels its flavors with an interplay of fruit alongside Earl Grey tea and anise. A luxurious texture emerges, intertwined with hints of earthy tobacco and a stony minerality. We taste as much or more Oregon wine in a given year than anyone on the planet. We look for the needles in the haystacks, the wines you won't find in your local wine store. Wineries have long sought our help to sell their most limited, unique bottlings.

We are picky. We like to sell wines that we like to drink. We refer to taste the wines sell over several days; we want to know how a wine will evolve, how it pairs with food.
