Our Blanco ‘23 brings two of our favorite white grapes together, and represents a blend of our excitement for Spanish varietals (Albariño) in Oregon and a love for one of its classics (Chardonnay). We source the Albariño from Threemile Vineyard (1400-ft elevation) in the Columbia Valley AVA and the Chardonnay from Marin Estate Vineyard (300-ft elevation) in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA, both practicing organic farming. The pressings were co-fermented in tank for two weeks then aged in one puncheon and one barrel, both neutral French Oak, for 5 months. The wine has aromas and flavors of tropical fruits, magnolia, and honey comb with a supple texture and clean, candied lemon finish. 79 cases made.

92 Points - Paul Gregutt: "The Albariño brings sharp, edgy, lightly peppery citrus fruit; the Chardonnay broadens out the mid-palate and fleshes out the finish, with white peach and crisp apple highlights. Both vineyards are recently planted and winemaker Colin Howard neatly captures the youthful jubilance that young wines can offer."
