99 points James Suckling: "The gorgeous nose of freshly ground pepper, red currant and red cherry immediately catches your attention. Medium-to full-bodied with fine tannins. There is so much pure and exhilarating red fruit and spice here. It always remains light and airy on the palate. So effortless. Precise austerity. An incredible example of what grenache is capable of in Washington. 100% whole cluster fermented in concrete vats. A joy to drink. Drink or hold."
Dude. 99 points. Washington Grenache. $44.95. Holy crap!
What's left to say? We approached it with an extra skeptical perspective—The Boy had to prove itself to us. Bottle cracked. It truly is a joy to drink, beginning with explosive aromas, then a near-perfect combination of rich and juicy strawberry and currant fruit plus a white pepper accent, carried on an utterly silky red carpet. After tasting we are 100% on board. Time to get it.
