96 points, Editors' Choice Wine Enthusiast: "Rose petal, crushed herb and woodland berry aromas mingle with hints of forest floor and vanilla. Full-bodied and elegantly structured, the delicious palate doles out raspberry compote, ripe cherry, licorice and wild herb before closing on a salty note. Noble tannins provide firm support. Drink 2027–2032."
2016 vintage notes
95 points Vinous, Antonio Galloni: "The 2016 Barolo Bussia is a wine of tremendous character and complexity. Menthol, lavender, black cherry, graphite, cloves and leather all open up in the glass. Virile and layered, with tons of depth, the 2016 Bussia has so much to offer. A few years in the cellar will help the tannins soften, but the 2016 is already quite expressive. It is also one of the very finest wines I have ever tasted from Fenocchio."
Us: Magnificent from cask in 2018...I can't imagine how great this will be. - Marcus
