Team Walter Scott: Our Justice Chardonnay, sourced from 21-year-old vines, reveals an extraordinary depth of flavor and aroma. A subtle flinty edge complements notes of anise, clove, and crushed stone, balanced by the brightness of crisp red apple skin. The palate is refined and textured, with the vibrant acidity of mandarin and a hint of earthy dried Maitake mushroom. This Chardonnay achieves seamless harmony, culminating in a long, mineral-driven, spiced finish.

Justice vineyard sits on a ridge known as Holmes Gap, rolling southeast at 550 feet in elevation. The Van Duzer winds rip through the gap as they funnel their way east. As a result of this uninhibited exposure, the fruit ripens slowly, developing rich and complex flavors while retaining its focused acidity. The Pinot noir block sits directly next to the Walter Scott Winery on an outcropping of rocky Nekia clay soils. The vines were planted in 2000 and impart the subtle intensity that you only get from established vines.

We taste as much or more Oregon wine in a given year than anyone on the planet. We look for the needles in the haystacks, the wines you won't find in your local wine store. Wineries have long sought our help to sell their most limited, unique bottlings.
