One tiny taste and it's easy to see why John Paul is ecstatic about this Clos Blanc—there's more of everything we love about Clos Electrique Blanc (Chardonnay). Commanding aromas (more), more layers of orange, green, and yellow citrus and orchard fruits than I recall tasting in Clos Blanc, a more lovely, dense and sensual texture (more!). And just when you think you can't have more of something else, the current of freshness that flows through this elicits immediate mouthwatering, prompting John to exclaim that it's going to age at least 15 years.

We taste a boat load of Willamette Valley Chardonnay and each vintage this is one of a literal handful of the top wines, period. And yet this wine seems to raise its own bar. Planted to rare clones of Chardonnay not typically found in Oregon. -Marcus

We taste as much or more Oregon wine in a given year than anyone on the planet. We look for the needles in the haystacks, the wines you won't find in your local wine store. Wineries have long sought our help to sell their most limited, unique bottlings.

We are picky. We like to sell wines that we like to drink. We refer to taste the wines sell over several days; we want to know how a wine will evolve, how it pairs with food. We want to know if it truly belongs in your cellar, in your glass, and we want to provide you with guidance on how and when it'll be its best.
