96 points The Wine Advocate: "The 2021 Pinot Noir Laurelwood District has a pale ruby-purple color and slowly unfolding aromas of cranberries, tangerine peel, pipe tobacco and forest floor. The medium-bodied palate is powerful and generous with concentrated fruit, grainy tannins, plenty of refreshing acidity and a long, spicy finish."

Ponzi is under new ownership: Champagne house Bollinger recently purchased Ponzi which means soon, James Bond’s favorite Willamette Valley Pinot will be Ponzi (Bond fans will get this and others will scratch their heads…sorry, I’m obtuse). 

Laurelwood is one of the Willamette Valley’s newly established AVAs, which Ponzi has long championed. Ponzi’s labels are undergoing a much needed makeover, which you’ll see on their Laurelwood Pinot noir.

We taste as much or more Oregon wine in a given year than anyone on the planet. We look for the needles in the haystacks, the wines you won't find in your local wine store. Wineries have long sought our help to sell their most limited, unique bottlings.

We are picky. We like to sell wines that we like to drink. We refer to taste the wines sell over several days; we want to know how a wine will evolve, how it pairs with food.
