This edition reminds me somewhat more of the ’18 and comes off marvelously stony, with loads of tension and texture. Stored for 21 months in natural oak barrels, this offers a cornucopia of non-fruit aromatics from kumquat rind and wintergreen tones alongside red roses, pretty guava and strawberry fruits, with plenty of stony accents. The palate is downright delicious, as the mouth-watering acidity entices. Showing outstanding length this stunning wine is a thrilling joyride to consume now."

100 points Jeb Dunnuck: "I simply love this wine, last vintage, this vintage, probably every vintage, a mostly Grenache-dominant blend that works its magic in mysterious ways. Medium-bodied and aged 21 months in neutral oak, there's so much bright red fruit here, but also licorice, white pepper, sap, and a butcher shop's worth of meaty aromas and flavors. It evokes summer in Provence amidst fields of lavender, simply perfect in its ability to charm and intrigue. Give it some time and drink 2028-2043."

Life's too short to drink bad wine.

We taste as much or more Oregon wine in a given year than anyone on the planet. We look for the needles in the haystacks, the wines you won't find in your local wine store. Wineries have long sought our help to sell their most limited, unique bottlings.

We are picky. We don't like to sell wines that we don't like to drink. When we first taste a wine, we determine if it merits further attention. If so, we taste it later that day, perhaps pour a glass that night, then re-taste it over the course of several days. We want to know how a wine will evolve, or if it'll fall apart. We want to know if it truly belongs in your cellar, in your glass, and we want to provide you with a rough idea of when it'll be showing at its best.
