It’s early in this wine’s existence but even at this youthful stage, ‘23 Mahonia reminds us of 2015 Mahonia—the greatest vintage of Mahonia, until now. In that way, Mahonia epitomizes the 2023s: they remind us of the 2015s in their structure and classic Pinot Noir profiles, but they’re more extroverted and we surely see that in the wildly seductive ‘23 Mahonia. Balancing crushably delicious layers of dark red fruit with porcini mushroom, rosemary, and brown spices, there is only 1 downside to this—only 60 cases were made. We are big fans of '23 Mahonia (obviously) and we urge you to get your stash while you can!

We taste as much or more Oregon wine in a given year than anyone on the planet. We look for the needles in the haystacks, the wines you won't find in your local wine store. Wineries have long sought our help to sell their most limited, unique bottlings.
