The 2024 Dundee Hills Pinot is made from Maresh, Weber, plus a well known, old vine, neighboring high elevation Dundee Hills site. For Jim Arterberry Maresh, it is "classic Dundee Hills: pretty red fruit, deep and complete, right in the groove." We find exactly that—a beautiful bottle of classic Dundee Hills Pinot for less than $30.

Jim is calling the 2024 vintage (in his cellar) the best since 2008. Big talk but he knows what's in his cellar and you better believe he's going to back up the talk.

2023 vintage notes:

93 points Wine Spectator: "Dynamic yet sleek, with brisk acidity framed by vibrant cherry, cranberry, green tea and dusky spice flavors that zip along the snappy finish. Drink now through 2033."

Tasting through barrels in Jim Maresh's cellar was the first "ah-hah" moment I had for the 2023 vintage—ah-hah translating to "I'm going to like these wines, a lot!" They're on the darker end of the red fruit spectrum with unusual concentration and great structure, all hovering around 12.8-13% abv. For Arterberry Maresh fans—and you know we are presidents of the fan club—this is sweet music to our ears. One sip of the Dundee Hills 2023 will make you do two things: 1) exclaim "this is an amazing deal in old vine Dundee Hills Pinot!" and 2) start squirreling away bucks for the 2023 Arterberry Maresh big boys that are yet to come.
