A spectacular sparkling wine value, the decisiveness of Nebbiolo meets the elegance of Pinot Noir. This new release is from the fantastic 2019 vintage—it ages on its lees for 5 years, developing wonderful complexity and texture along the way. Fragrant and full of character, you'll find fresh red berries, citrus zest, fennel, and lovely minerality. Excellent as an aperitif or with raw fish, salads, a board of finocchiona with some taralli.

The winery: Nostra Signora Della Neve is the most important vineyard in the blend of this Metodo Classico. It is located in Roddino, at the confluence of the Barolo area and the Alta Langa. A magnificent vineyard, steep, entirely worked by hand from pruning to harvest. The soil, calcareous and poor, forces the vines to dig deep, giving the wine an extraordinary minerality.

We taste as much or more Oregon wine in a given year than anyone on the planet. We look for the needles in the haystacks, the wines you won't find in your local wine store. Wineries have long sought our help to sell their most limited, unique bottlings.

We are picky. We like to sell wines that we like to drink. We refer to taste the wines sell over several days; we want to know how a wine will evolve, how it pairs with food.
