95 points Wine Spectator: "Packed with fruit, this red exudes cherry, strawberry, rose and iron notes, with a hint of wild herbs. Vibrant acidity and fine-grained tannins lend well-meshed support. Harmonious and surprisingly approachable already, but this will improve over the next two decades. Best from 2027 through 2045."

"Broader fruit, broader everything" is what I first wrote when tasting the Baudana. Notable for its many layers and fabulous length, I find the review above to be an accurate description of this exquisite Barolo. It is surprisingly accessible for a wine from this area and vineyard due to its lovely fruit purity. -Marcus

We taste as much or more Oregon wine in a given year than anyone on the planet. We look for the needles in the haystacks, the wines you won't find in your local wine store. Wineries have long sought our help to sell their most limited, unique bottlings.

We are picky. We like to sell wines that we like to drink. We refer to taste the wines sell over several days; we want to know how a wine will evolve, how it pairs with food.
