The 2024 vintage holds special significance: crafted entirely from 100% Estate fruit for the first time, it marks the 30th vintage of this iconic wine. Sourced from our world-class Estate vineyards—Paul Gerrie, Eileen, Louise, and Jessie—Mt. Jeff captures the diversity of volcanic soils, elevations, and aspects that define our hillside. Coastal winds funneled through the Van Duzer Corridor further shape its structure and complexity, yielding a Pinot Noir of remarkable balance and depth. Revered for its approachability and stylistic consistency, Mt. Jeff remains a benchmark classic Willamette Valley Pinot Noir—and an exceptional value.

2023 vintage notes

#11 in Wine Spectator's Top 100 of 2025, 95 points: "This impressive Pinot is polished and detailed, offering dynamic flavors of raspberry and blueberry, with mineral and brown baking spice hints that build richness toward fine-grained tannins. Drink now through 2035." 

That's huge press from Spectator for a sub-$40 Willamette Valley Pinot. If you've not checked out Cristom's Pinots recently, you are missing out. Winemaker Daniel Estrin has brought a newfound elegance and polish to Cristom Pinots and we love it. 

The '23 vintage represents a record: a whopping 77% of Mt. Jefferson comes from Cristom's famous estate vineyards Eileen, Jessie, Louise, and Paul Gerrie. The remainder comes from neighboring top sites in the Eola-Amity Hills. Spectator picked up on the beautiful polish of this and you will, too—it's gorgeous already and will continue to be for a decade. Exceptional value!

We taste as much or more Oregon wine in a given year than anyone on the planet. We look for the needles in the haystacks, the wines you won't find in your local wine store. Wineries have long sought our help to sell their most limited, unique bottlings.

We are picky. We like to sell wines that we like to drink. We prefer to taste the wines sell over several days; we want to know how a wine will evolve, how it pairs with food.
