Us: Something special is happening at Freedom Hill. In the last couple vintages, the F.H. Pinot Noirs made by our favorite winemakers have shown an elegance and refinement we never thought possible from the bold, brooding site—never until Walter Scott's Ken Pahlow showed us the way. Ken's magic touch gives us even more to love in 2024 with a scintillating balance of old-school Freedom Hill flesh and the brighter Pinot brilliance. 

Team Walter Scott: Freedom Hill Pinot Noir opens with generous intensity, revealing layers of wild blackberry, ripe cherry, and rose petal lifted by clove spice. The palate unfolds with dark fruit woven with notes of black tea, anise, and forest floor. A supple texture carries hints of cinnamon and bramble, while fine tannins and bright acidity provide structure. Balancing power with elegance, the finish is long, lifted, and distinctly Freedom Hill.

Life's too short to drink bad wine.

We taste as much or more Oregon wine in a given year than anyone on the planet. We look for the needles in the haystacks, the wines you won't find in your local wine store. Wineries have long sought our help to sell their most limited, unique bottlings.

We are picky. We like to sell wines that we like to drink. We refer to taste the wines sell over several days; we want to know how a wine will evolve, how it pairs with food. We want to know if it truly belongs in your cellar, in your glass, and we want to provide you with guidance on how and when it'll be its best.
