A Willamette Valley Chardonnay which has no equivalent, 2023 is an exceptional vintage for Clos Electrique. All of the liquid-gold Corton clone barrels went into this wine (Cameron geeks among us will note that means no Wadsworth from '23) and it shows! Shimmering, an arpeggio of bright and beautiful Chardonnay notes on the right hand before the left joins with succulent flavor— sustaining. This is an f-ing masterpiece. 

Last year's Clos Electrique Chardonnay vertical tasting we attended is proof of how extraordinarily this wine ages but wow, is it tasty today.

Each vintage this is one of a literal handful of the top wines, period. Yet this wine seems to raise its own bar. Planted to rare clones of Chardonnay not typically found in Oregon. -Marcus

Life's too short to drink bad wine.

We taste as much or more Oregon wine in a given year than anyone on the planet. We look for the needles in the haystacks, the wines you won't find in your local wine store. Wineries have long sought our help to sell their most limited, unique bottlings.

We are picky. We like to sell wines that we like to drink. We refer to taste the wines sell over several days; we want to know how a wine will evolve, how it pairs with food.
