An especially compelling Seven Springs, with a super-silken, ethereal coolness to its floral-accented wild berries which carry through with surprising persistence and cling. The longer it's open, the more that density and structure come into play, building gravitas and presence. - Marcus
2015 vintage notes
A magnificent Pinot noir which shows the depth, character, and elegant power of old vines, from 1983-planted vines in the iconic Seven Springs Vineyard. Beginning on the purple end of the spectrum with violet, dark berry and spice aromas, turning beautifully, delectably red on the palate with mixed cherries and raspberries, delicate spice and floral accents, and a can’t-describe complexity that’ll keep you transfixed.
