Soos Creek Terrible Beauty Cabernet Sauvignon 2012
2012 vintage note
Soos Creek has long been one of our favorite Northwest wineries. They deliver incredible values; despite sourcing from Washington's best vineyards (Champoux and Ciel du Cheval, to name two) and making wine since 1989, none of their wines cost more than $40.
Winemaker Dave Larsen introduced a new wine with the 2012 vintage: Terrible Beauty. Technically labeled as "Red Wine," this 91% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Merlot blend drinks very much like a Cab with spice, sage, coffee, and black cherries on the nose followed by a pure, juicy dark fruited palate. Another exceptionally well-made wine from Soos Creek!
