92 points Wine Advocate: “An instant success, the 2017 Pollard Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon has a beautiful floral nose with aromas of dark plum, red cherry skin, hints of lavender, cinnamon spice and touches of turned earth, with a hint of dried herbs and rose petals in the glass. Medium-bodied, the wine has impeccable balance and finesse that sashays with elegance and a balanced structure with lifting tannins. The wine continues to evolve on the persistent, lingering floral finish. Such elegance!"
Robin Pollard is the former Executive Director of the Washington Wine Commission; her life partner just happens to be Chris Camarda, the founding winemaker of Andrew Will. She planted a vineyard in the Yakima Valley and Chris is making the wine. An amazing deal!!!
Us: The note above totally nails it in flavor and feel. The elegance on display here, especially at this price, is legitimately shocking. It's partly the 13.7% alcohol and more the overall package. It's a thrilling breath of fresh air in the amped-up Cabernet scene; I highly recommend it! - Marcus
