The Maresh bottling is one I feel very deeply entrained with each year, and more so with each vintage. These vines planted on their own roots in 1970. This time spent each year working in these blocks has changed me. I have the utmost love and respect for these plants of great and sometimes mischievous character. Taken from the back label: “The wine from these vines leads me to imagine a beautiful threshold of Earth and stars, and its essence and mystery is this living edge.”

The Maresh Liminal is a light-medium, youthful and noble blue-red with that is full of light-flickering transparency. It is ethereal and light of being-and beautifully disarming. Of course, the nose is full of Hood strawberries with the cool freshness of rain and the Pacific Ocean in the spring air, along with spices and other delicious notes that are ineffable. This silk winged Maresh has a long finish and is packed with pleasure. I can’t wait to drink this in a few years. -Kelley Fox

We taste as much or more Oregon wine in a given year than anyone on the planet. We look for the needles in the haystacks, the wines you won't find in your local wine store. Wineries have long sought our help to sell their most limited, unique bottlings.

We are picky. We like to sell wines that we like to drink. We refer to taste the wines sell over several days; we want to know how a wine will evolve, how it pairs with food.
