Our favorite Willamette Valley Gamay in years! The aromas will grab you, pull you in, stop you from asking "what's Gamay?" if you're not already a Gamay fan. Juicy and bright up front, building depth and signature "crunchy" snap through the finish. Such a fun easy to love red.
Grant and Renee: The Gamay fruit was divided into three fermentation lots: 1) 100% whole cluster, carbonic, 2) fully destemmed 3) 100% whole cluster with foot crushing. After fermentation they were aged in neutral oak and amphora for 11 months. The three components are wildly different with portions lending bright cranberry fruit and silky tannins while others create rich blueberry flavors with cocoa-like tannins.
