2014 vintage notes
Dude. This juice is for real! Putting a finer point on it: the best value Washington red wine available right now. We've found it tough, close to impossible, to find well-made Washington wine for less than $15. It appears Andrew Latta felt the same way, which helped spur the launch of the aptly named Disruption label. 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Malbec has never tasted this good for this price. An exemplary Tuesday night pour, singing with gulpable black cherry and black berry flavors. Fresh and vibrant, 13.9% alcohol, down the hatch and by the case. - Marcus
Andrew Latta is living up to his role as one of "Washington's Game-Changing Winemakers*."
Latta isn't (yet) a household name, though many Washington followers have tasted a wine he's made. Andrew spent nearly a decade as winemaker for K Vintners/Charles Smith before launching his own Latta label and co-founding Disruption Wine Company.
With the motto "More Wine, Less Ego" and a knack for sourcing grapes from outstanding small vineyards, we think he's doing everything right.
