95 points James Suckling: "A complex nose with sappy, foresty notes framing ripe blueberries, red cherries and sultry, gently herbal, bunchy influence. The palate has impressive power and drive, packed with fresh red-cherry and boysenberry flavors. The acidity is a feature and holds a very long, supple and lively finish. Drink or hold."

97 points PinotFile: "This wine has more tannic 'guts,' but also the most concentrated fruit. Lovely aromas of dark red cherry, spice, brioche and rose petal. Mid weight plus in style, featuring waves of dark red and purple fruits that saturate the palate. Bold, yet charming, with enough juicy acidity to balance the tannic backbone. I was more enamored with the wine when tasted the following day from a previously opened and re-corked bottle. Merci!

94 points Vinous, Josh Raynolds: "Highly fragrant, expansive scents of ripe red berries, Asian spices, blood orange and candied rose; a smoky mineral element builds in the glass. Silky and seamless in texture, offering palate-staining raspberry and floral pastille flavors that show a striking interplay of depth and vivacity. Closes sweet, gently tannic and impressively long, delivering lingering notes of emphatic red berry, spice and floral pastille."
The aromas are stunning, exotic and pretty. Superbly elegant, seamlessly textured, with a pure Pinot sweetness hanging on the finish. One seriously sexy Pinot noir. - Marcus
