On the palate, it's full-bodied, deep and concentrated, with a rock-solid core, juicy acids and a beautifully fine-grained but firm chassis of structuring tannins. If it's the most promising of these 2015s from Chris Camarda, it's also the most backward and in need of cellaring, and as the track record of this bottling demonstrates, its tenth birthday will be just the beginning of the excitement."

Beautifully stacked with cassis, crushed black berry, and subtle ribbons of red fruits, it displays a creamy-supple texture that makes it already irresistible with exquisite balance. It's Sorella, so you know it's going to age if you choose that route. 96 points Wine Advocate: "...the 2012 Sorella comes all from the Champoux Vineyard in the Horse Heaven Hills AVA and is made from 67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 13% Cabernet Franc. Aged 18 months in 35% new French oak, it has smoking notes of blackcurrants, black raspberry, toasted bread and spice-box to go with a full-bodied, awesomely concentration, yet layered, balanced profile on the palate. There’s a lot of tannin here, so short-term cellaring is advised. This beauty will have 2-3 decades of longevity and will stand toe-to-toe with some of the greatest Bordeaux blends out there.
These latest 2012s from Chris Camarda are easily some of the best wines I’ve tasted from him and they have everything; texture, richness, balance and structure."
95 points Wine Advocate: "The 2011 Sorella (68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot) is in the same ballpark, with plenty of blackberry, mineral, toast and earthiness, as well as full-bodied richness and depth on the palate. More backwards and structured than the Champoux Vineyard, give it a handful of years in the cellar and plan on drinking bottles through 2028."
2010 vintage notes
The 2010 Andrew Will reds are spectacular, and along with the 2005 and 2008, are my favorites of the last decade. It's all about balance with the 2010 -- pure and seamless black cherry and cassis fruit glides, mingling with grilled herb, graphite, and licorice notes. Give it 3-6 years for the best drinking, though I poured myself another glass right away.

Sorella '09 opens with a pitch black, lusciously deep and fleshy, gushing array of black berry, cassis, blueberry, and graphite flecks. Palate-staining, the layered finish is remarkably supple and harmonious. I love the depth it displays on the finish. Of all, that's ALL Washington wines, none has a finer pedigree than Sorella, boasting an average vine age of 33 years, all from the oldest plantings in Champoux Vineyard. - Marcus
