94 points Wine Advocate: "A blend of 63% Grenache, 19% Syrah and 18% Cabernet Sauvignon, all from the XL Vineyard in Walla Walla, the 2015 Tilting At Windmills is a youthful, sweetly fruited, hedonistic red that has plenty of elegance and purity in its black raspberry, cassis, spice and crushed flower aromas and flavors. It has plenty of sweet fruit, a charming, elegant, modern style and a good finish. It's going to be better in another year, and keep easily through 2025."
94 points Wine Advocate: "Grenache-dominated, yet incorporating 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Syrah, the 2012 Tilting At Windmills is also rock star stuff. Decadently styled, with creme de cassis, melted licorice, road tar and spice, this full-bodied effort has superb mid-palate depth, an unctuous texture and sweet tannin that coats the palate on the finish. It’s impressive and will have a decade or more of longevity."
Varietals: Grenache 60%, Cabernet Sauvignon (30%), Syrah (10%)
