This week, we're celebrating Oregon Pinot noir, which makes sense since this weekend is the International Pinot Noir Celebration. We've put together a "greatest hits" compilation from the last month (and beyond) -- Pinots that have rocked the critics and have impressed our discerning palates.
The June 1st Wine Spectator Insider featured a bunch of new Oregon Pinots, mostly from the stellar 2014 vintage. The highest rated, hottest Oregon wine in the bunch was Bethel Heights Aeolian Estate Pinot noir 2014, coming in at 95 points.
Get ready for 2014 Oregon Pinot Noir. Because they are ready for you. They are the kinds of Pinot that everyone will like. Super attractive, loaded with charm, and they'll be great in five years, too. Both hit the sweet spot for price in single vineyard Pinot.
Purple Wine Company, Inc., a California limited liability company, and its AVALON brand are not in any way affiliated with Avalon Wine@Northwest-wine.com an Oregon corporation, or Avalon Wine's store at its physical location in Oregon.
