Wine Spectator Walla Walla Syrah Surprise: 94 Points, $25.95
More Walla Walla news and reviews this morning, this time from Wine Spectator Insider with a Reynvaan Producer Spotlight! Not at all shocking, Reynvaan's signature Syrah's scored big with 95 points. But the surprise is Reynvaan's The Unnamed Series Syrah 2018—94 points and only $25.95!
As you may recall from past vintages we are big fans of The Unnamed and are totally stoked to see it get some Spectator praise. The reviews come on the tail end of availability. We expect they'll sell out within 24 hours.
$25.95 in any 12 bottle or Build a Case order ($27.95 regular)

94 points Wine Spectator: "A compelling red, savory and generous, with lively blueberry, smoked meat, grilled anise and cracked pepper flavors that expand and flesh out toward fine-grained tannins. Drink now through 2030."
Us: This Syrah, from Walla Walla Superstar Reynvaan, is made from the same estate vineyards and made in the same way. But it's 1/3 the price of Reynvaan's flagship Syrahs. So how is it? It screams Walla Walla and Reynvaan. It's rich yet comes across more like a robust Pinot noir in body, with a savory combo of blue and red fruits, olive tapenade, and mouthwatering roasted meat juices. Reynvaan's style is not massive Washington Syrah; it is more elegant, savory, and lower in alcohol.
