Wine Spectator 96, 94 Point Italian Reds—Proof of Deliciousness!
Caio fellow Italian wine fans! We are Legit excited about today's duo: the brand new 2018 Tolaini Legit Cabernet and the return of Caparzo's 2016 Brunello. What these two have in common besides their Tuscan origins—they are drinking deliciously. Of course they'll cellar well but after tasting multiple bottles (okay, we drank some too) we have definitive proof of deliciousness. It's science.
Big Wine Spectator raves for each and a gigantic meatball of recommendation from us. If you want to be drinking outstanding Tuscan reds, start here!

Tolaini Legit Cabernet Sauvignon Toscana 2018
$34.95 in any 12 bottle or Build a Case order ($44.95 regular)

94 points Wine Spectator: "Well-defined black cherry and blackberry flavors are shaded by notes of rosemary, eucalyptus, iron and tobacco in this firm and complex red, which shows lovely balance and grip on the lingering aftertaste. Best from 2023 through 2036."
Us: The note above is spot on in aromas and flavors but boy, is this delicious right now. The most pop-and-pourable of the Legit Cabs (compared to 2013 and 2016), the '18 holds up over several days so if you choose to cellar it you'll love future bottles equally. Continues the winning combo: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and 100% Tuscany.

$43.95 in any 12 bottle or Build a Case order ($47.95 regular)

96 points Wine Spectator: "Ripe, sweet cherry and raspberry fruit are accented by floral, mineral and wild herbs in this alluring red. A backbone of dense, dusty tannins provides support, and the ripe fruit returns on the savory finish. Excellent length. Best from 2023 through 2043."
Us: This Brunello is in a gorgeous place right now—it is drinking phenomenally well. I have enjoyed 4 bottles since Christmas—no decanting needed for any of them—and it has been the gift that keeps giving. Did I mention it's delicious now?!
