Under-the-Radar Value Pinot Finds

We had so much fun with our last value Pinot offering that we're back with more, this time featuring two under-the-radar Willamette Valley finds: Vincent and McKinlay. You won't read about them in the glossy wine magazines and you won't be visiting their fancy tasting rooms (hint: they don't have them), but we're experts at hunting Pinot values and we know where to look!

These two single-vineyard wines will blow you away for how much Pinot flavor and character's packed into a sub-$25 bottle. Load up on these hidden gems!

$24.95 in any 12 bottle or Build a Case order ($26.95 regular)

Vincent nails the best of Ribbon Ridge, one of the Willamette Valley's most prestigious wine-growing areas (think Beaux Freres, Brick House, Patricia Green). Like the McKinlay below, this stellar value Pinot noir is from a single vineyard (Armstrong) and from the exceptional 2018 vintage. Vibrant and loaded with yummy darker fruit, delectably accented by floral and Ribbon Ridge earth notes. One sip of this silky number and you'll be calling us for more.

Take one of Oregon's most under-the-radar winery gems, McKinlay, and add a one-off bottling, this lovely Chehalem Mountains, and you have super-secret-stash territory. The CM, which is entirely from McKinlay's estate vineyard, is a classic example of what the winery does best: deliver authentic, pure Pinot noir with outstanding value. Beaming red fruits with lace curtains of purples and blacks, light licorice, spice and dried herb accents. I tasted the bottle over a week (as in 7 days) and it was still super-pretty all the way to day 7. You won't find that kind of structure in your average $25 Pinot...nor in virtually any Pinot at this price
