Two New 2016 Pinots We Love

Today's wine theme is simple: two of our favorite Willamette Valley wineries have just released 2016 Pinot noirs that we absolutely love!

Twill, our most popular young upstart winery of the last two years, delivers another outstanding value. And Brick House, a member of Oregon's royal family of wineries, drops a Les Dijonnais for the ages. Whatever your flavor or price range, we highly recommend these delicious Pinots.

Twill Willamette Valley Pinot noir 2016
$19.75 in any 12 bottle or Build a Case* order ($21.95 regular)
Like a combination of Twill's 2014 and 2015 WV Pinot, and dare I say better! Lovely aromas of raspberry, rose, and spice box, with the wonderful Twill signature of blood orange joining the party. Sinewy and savory, weaving red fruits, rosemary, and mineral notes together through the elegantly complex finish. I wrote, "plays like a Langhe Nebbiolo on the nose then like a Burgundy on the palate," which I think is fascinating and more importantly, delicious. Yet again, Twill delivers a truly outstanding value Willamette Valley Pinot. - Marcus

$49.45 in any 12 bottle or Build a Case* order
($54.95 regular)
Brick House is on a serious roll -- to me, the wines have never been better! Les Dijonnais '16 is simply sublime, densely packed with the most attractive array of red berries, wrapped delicately in a tapestry of floral, clove, and mineral tones. We've had a bottle open for four days and it's still bright and fresh -- this should last a good long while in your cellar, unless you want to dive right in now which we wholeheartedly encourage. Not yet reviewed, we expect (demand, even) righteous scores for this most righteous wine. An essential Pinot noir in any Oregon collection.  - Marcus

We're looking forward to helping you with an order. Thanks for your support!
