Top Oregon Chardonnays: Ayoub, Crowley

More love for Oregon Chardonnay today, some of which comes from yesterday's Wine Spectator Insider with another great review and a lot of it coming from yours truly!

You know we love Ayoub Pinot noir but did you know Mo Ayoub makes awesome Chardonnay? He does, and has a freshly-minted 94 from Wine Spectator. Also not to be missed is Tyson Crowley's jaw-dropping Four Winds Chardonnay, which left us darn near speechless.

Ayoub Chardonnay Dundee Hills 2016
$43.15 in any 12 bottle or Build a Case* order

($47.95 regular)

94 points Wine Spectator: "Vibrant and refined, with floral tangerine and quince aromas and polished, elegantly layered pear and wet stone flavors that glide along the finish. Drink now through 2020."

Always one of Oregon's highest rated Chardonnays, the 2016 is especially energetic and balanced. You can enjoy now or cellar for several years (despite what the review above suggests).

Crowley Chardonnay Four Winds Vineyard 2015

$40.45 in any 12 bottle or Build a Case* order ($44.95 regular)

Only 97 cases of this magical nectar were made but that won't stop us from gushing over this gorgeous wine. Hitting our stylistic sweet spot and singing with mouthwatering citrus, this is broad, engaging, beautifully textured Chardonnay. Highly recommended, and equally limited.
