We absolutely adore the Brick House wines, especially today's duo. There is a kindness, a gentleness that flows through them. Is it the decades of earth-friendly farming--they've been certified organic since the early '90s and Biodynamic since the early 2000s!--the soothing voice and gentle-handed approach of winemaker Doug Tunnell? Definitely, and we're pretty sure there's some magic involved, too.
Do not miss the irresistible Les Dijonnais Pinot noir and one of the finest bargains in Chardonnay you'll find. You will taste and feel the magical goodness that flows in them!

I love this wine. An essential Pinot noir in any Oregon collection, Les Dijonnais is simply sublime, composed of the most attractive array of red berries wrapped in an elegant tapestry of floral and mineral threaded together. We opened a bottle recently and I'm not ashamed to say we drank 3/4 of it in 20 minutes--it is so crushable, so irresistible. The '17 is especially pretty and silky and juicy delicious now...but I did save the rest of the bottle to taste on day two and it has all the goods to age as you'd expect it to. - Marcus
93 points Wine Spectator: "Svelte and harmonious, with splendid raspberry and cherry flavors laced with rose petal and black tea notes, building complexity toward refined tannins. Drink now through 2027."
"Rolling gently from our north boundary fence to the foot of the Douglas firs in our woods, the brick house looks out over eight acres of Dijon clone vines planted on a full south slope. Since 1998, they have supplied superior fruit that continues to win critical acclaim. Les Dijonnais represents the best barrels from this warm site. In contrast with the Pommard clone bottlings, Les Dijonnais offers a more floral interpretation of the grape, often displaying hints of rose petal and meadow flowers." - the winery

A knockout, from taste to value. Sophisticated and refreshing, this suave beauty exudes fresh lemon, pear, crushed minerals and jasmine. Brick House's Chardonnay program, all estate-grown, is an homage to the great white wines of Burgundy, which gives you more than a hint at their stylistic leanings. - Marcus
"The 2017 Brick House Chardonnay was grown just yards from our crush pad and wine press, thus ensuring the freshness of the fruit as it began its journey to becoming wine. The wine was barrel fermented in largely neutral French oak cooperage. It completed a full malolactic fermentation, contributing to the rich, round texture of the finished wine. The 2017 remained in barrel for twelve months and then was moved to tank for a further eight months. Bottled in May of 2019, this is a savory Chardonnay unencumbered by oak and exhibiting a hint of salinity on the nose and bright citrus and stone fruits on the palate." - the winery
