The New York Times Top Rated, Best Value Barbaresco

Happy Friday Italian wine fans!
The New York Times wine column yesterday featured 2014 Barbaresco, a vintage filled with "Triumphs and Question Marks." Despite early reports, many of the 2014 Barbarescos, and certainly many of the wines we're tasting, are beautiful. As always, you can trust us to sift through the question marks in order to find the triumphs.
The Times' top triumph, De Forville Barbaresco 2014, is a lovely, textbook Barbaresco. It can be enjoyed now with decanting and a mushroom or Italian sausage ragu. We have a little in stock now and the remainder arriving February 26. Because of the NYT review, we expect a rush so secure yours today!

De Forville Barbaresco 2014
$27.85 in any 12 bottle or Build a Case* order ($30.95 regular)
The New York Times' top rated, best value Barbaresco: "Our top wine, from De Forville, was a classic Barbaresco of the old school, with beautiful floral and anise flavors and an earthy minerality. It was a complete wine and, though accessible now, will only get better with age - say, five years or more. It was also our best value at just $30." Ships 2/26/18
We look forward to helping you with an order. Thanks for your support and have a great weekend!
