Dusky Goose is one of the few Pinot noir producers which require no introduction with our readership—we were big supporters from the first vintage (2002) and we know many of you have been fans ever since!. A robust yet elegant expression of Willamette Valley Pinot, the newest vintage of Dusky Goose is flying into town: the superb 2017 vintage with its overall excellent fruit purity and balance. The Dundee Hills and Rambouillet are ready for you. And while you add the '17s to your collection you'll need some of Dusky's newest hit, Rambeaux, to round out your Dusky Goose stash.

Think of 2017 as "classic" Dusky Goose: it reminds us of a cross between 2010 and 2012 and that recollection is a very good thing. The signature Dusky Goose dark dried cherry heart is accented by a top note of orange zest, a middle layer of raspberry sauce, and base note of truffle and barrel spice. Silky on entry, the '17 builds heft through the finish. Simply put, fans of Dusky Goose will be fans of the 2017 Dundee Hills.

A luxurious and robust Pinot noir, the essence of the Rambouillet bottling from the beginning. Elevated richness and texture, the "Rambo" 2017 adds layers of dark red and black fruits and a pinch of sweet brown spice to the silky, sultry finish. This is the "hey, time to impress my friends" bottle you reach for.

As we expected, this has become a customer favorite. Long our nickname for Dusky Goose's estate Rambouillet vineyard, Rambeaux (pronounced Rambo like the series of Stallone movies), combines two exquisite Dusky Goose estate vineyards into a Pinot that's super tasty and an excellent value—Rambeaux is made from the same vineyards that go into the Dundee Hills and Rambouillet bottlings.
Delicious black and dark red cherries—the flavors we've loved in Dusky Goose since the first vintage—come to the party full and juicy. The classic character of 2019 adds a lithe feel and mellow spice accents on the finish, and it's totally yummy.
