We've gone gaga over Cameron's 2014 Pinot noirs. And from the feedback we've received, so have you. Their newest 2014, the sublime Reserve Dundee Hills, is something we highly recommend for your Pinot collection. Warnings in advance: like all Cameron Pinots, it is limited, enjoys a rabid following and will sell out quickly.
Cameron Reserve Dundee Hills Pinot noir 2014$33.25 in any 12 bottle or Build a Case* order ($36.95 regular)
We keep having the same reaction to Cameron's 2014 Pinot noir: each new release is better than the last, which brings us to today's release, the Reserve Dundee Hills. More exquisite than the "regular" Dundee Hills bottling? Yes. More dimension, depth, intrigue? Absolutely. Worth the extra dollars? Damn straight. Black and red cherries, sweet raspberry, roses, smoky minerals, and more. All of the Cameron energy and personality is in here. We're asking ourselves, can the single vineyard '14s be better than this? Boy...that is a mind-blowing scenario.
From the two positively fantastic vineyards, Abbey Ridge and Clos Electrique. A mere seven barrels (175 cases) were selected for this blend. Get it.
And don't miss this, either!
Cameron Giuliano 2015
$22.45 in any 12 bottle or Build a Case* order ($24.95 regular)
Giuliano is a traditional Friulian blend of Friulano, Pinot gris, Pinot blanc, Auxerrois and Muscat. Rich and luscious with superb acidity, it sashays from floral to pear to marzipan to citrus zest. Giuliano is named for John and Terri's son, Julian, who suggested the idea of a Friulian white blend and also designed the label. It is sourced from the superb vineyards Clos Electrique and Abbey Ridge.
