The Corliss Big Boys

Every year we’ve offered them, our Corliss Cabernet and Red Wine stash has sold out in minutes. Sure, the reviews are always stellar but it's more the track record of excellence these big boys enjoy and even more so, the fact that they're customer favorites. We have requests for them months before release.

In our opinion, which is mirrored by some of the world's leading wine critics, including the highly respected and very conservative scorer, Steve Tanzer, these are among Washington's best wines. We encourage you to stake your claim now.

$89.95 in any 12 bottle or Build a Case order ($99.95 regular)

95+ points Vinous, Stephen Tanzer: "Blackberry, licorice, wild herbs and bitter chocolate on the nose, with some complicating savory notes. Fine-grained, glossy and super-concentrated, boasting bulletproof flavors of dark berries, bitter chocolate, cocoa powder and sexy Taransaud barrel spices complicated by a subtle savory quality. This very dark, brooding wine is still an infant but already delivers noteworthy sex appeal owing to its velvety claret-like texture. Finishes with big, sweet tongue- and tooth-dusting tannins and terrific mounting length."

96+ points Jeb Dunnuck: "Loads of cassis, blackcurrants, charcoal, graphite, and cedar aromas and flavors. Like the Red Wine, it's structured, tannic, and concentrated, and needs to be hidden in the cellar."

$74.95 in any 12 bottle or Build a Case order ($83.95 regular)

95+ points Jeb Dunnuck: "A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Petit Verdot that spent a full 28 months in new and used barrels. Saturated purple-colored, with loads of spiced red and black fruits, smoked meats, graphite, and barbecue notes, this power-packed effort hits the palate with full-bodied richness, loads of mouthcoating tannins, terrific depth of fruit, and a big finish. I wouldn't think about opening bottles for another 3-4 years and it will keep for two decades."
