The Best Value American Pinot Noir, Again

We've said it many times before and we'll say it again: this is consistently the best value in American Pinot noir. Some values come and go depending on vintage, but Evesham Wood's Willamette Valley delivers every single year. And what a year 2015 is shaping up to be. Based on our early tastings, and this benchmark release, we can't wait to see what's ahead...

Evesham Wood Willamette Valley Pinot noir 2015

$17.95 in any 12 bottle or Build a Case* order ($19.95 regular

So much more elegant and refined than its $20 peers, it bursts with liveliness and silky allure. Opening with a spectrum of bright and dark that fans out even more as it opens, retaining beautiful verve throughout. Excellent balance, super food friendly and totally sip-worthy. There's a reason I drink more of this at home than any other Oregon Pinot (and it's not just 'cause I'm cheap): it is awesome.

While early, after spending two days with the first bottle of '15 I'd say it's the best vintage since 2010. Interestingly, the 2015 reminds me of a theoretical blend of 2005 and 2010, two of my favorite Oregon vintages. I recommend buying at least a case and enjoying 1-2 bottles now and the rest in 4-6 months. A young wine, I have learned over many years that this gets even better with just a few months of bottle age. - Marcus

We look forward to helping you with an order. The wine will arrive Tuesday 9.20.
