Thank You, Wine Gods: A Brief Reappearance of Clos des Oiseaux

The wine gods are looking out for us.

After selling out immediately, due to its fantastic review as one of Wine Advocate's highest rated 2014 Oregon Pinots, we never thought we'd see another bottle.

Walter Scott is Oregon's hottest winery, with a meteoric rise to fame. So when we got a call (a text, actually) that a few more cases of Clos des Oiseaux had magically become available, it took all of a second to respond. We recommend you respond almost as quickly, since the handful of cases of this incredible juice is going to fly!

Walter Scott Clos des Oiseaux Pinot noir 2014

$44.95 in any 12 bottle or Build a Case* order ($49.95 regular)

94 points Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Clos des Oiseaux Pinot Noir is back! back!! back!!! It has a clean and pure bouquet with cranberry, Morello and minerals that is very precise. The palate is medium-bodied with fine delineation, extremely focused and minerally with great sustain on the finish. This is a killer Pinot Noir from Walter Scott, surfeit with breeding, complexity and just plain deliciousness. Intuition tells me this is going to be an absolute joy after 5-6 years in bottle."

"I just like how Ken and Erica roll - nothing fancy, no blockbuster or pretentiousness - just killer Pinot Noir with purity, intensity and personality. That leaves me to say if you have not tried these wines yet, do yourself a favor."

Forward and positively rocking, offering lush and fresh red fruit, from cherry to sweet raspberry, accented by Asian spices. Clos des Oiseaux (pronounced wah-ZOH) is farmed by Ken and Erica.

We're looking forward to helping you with an order. Thanks for your support!
