We're not shy when it comes to our opinions on Willamette Valley Pinot noir. We have our favorites and you're guaranteed to hear about them. The real reward comes when our top picks are your top picks–when the "wow, this stuff's delicious and I'll take more-s" start rolling in. With much thought and scrutiny, here are 4 wildly popular Pinots where we've lost track of how many times we've heard "I've gotta have more!" from you. Two of them (Rambeaux and Goodfellow) are very close to sold out so this is your last chance to restock.
A new release but it's already lighting up the boards.Stephen Goff Willamette Valley Pinot noir 2018

The combination of vineyards alone gives you a clear idea of the exceptional value of Goff's Willamette Valley: half Weber, half Shea, vineyards which command 2-3 times this price when they're on the label. And then you pop the cork and experience a beautiful Pinot noir, with a layered, wonderfully composed feel. The fruit intensity of 2018 shines, as does Steve Goff's gift for coaxing depth, texture, and elegance from every Pinot noir he makes.

Whoooooaaaa Dusky! THIS is what Dusky Goose is all about and we love it. Long our nickname for Dusky Goose's estate Rambouillet vineyard, Rambeaux (pronounced Rambo like the series of Stallone movies), combines two exquisite Dusky Goose estate vineyards into a Pinot that's so freaking good and an excellent value. Each single vineyard Pinot from these respective sites sells for $100/bottle.
A classic Dusky Goose profile that perfectly combines delicious black cherry and dried dark cherry—the flavors we've loved in Dusky Goose since the first vintage. It's full and juicy and just totally yummy. Exactly what we expect from Dusky Goose and knowing us, that's saying a lot.
Our most re-ordered $50 Pinot of the last 2 years. Seriously.

Us: Subtle, sublime magic. This is as gorgeous as any 2018 Pinot I've tasted. The aromas are so alive they jump from the glass; its a scent you allow to take over your brain. Commanding in an understated way, it makes you listen because of its quiet perfection. Elegantly composed of the most attractive array of red berries, wrapped delicately in a tapestry of floral and mineral tones. This should last a good long while in your cellar, unless you want to dive right in now which we wholeheartedly encourage. An essential Pinot noir in any Oregon collection.
94 points Wine Spectator, Highly Recommended: "Ethereal and expressively floral, with multilayered raspberry, rose petal and cherry blossom flavors, plus orange peel accents that build richness toward polished tannins. Drink now through 2028."

Us: Within a vintage we love, this Pinot noir is a towering achievement. Stacked like a vertical puzzle, each piece building on the base below it and helping it soar towards the heavens. And experiencing Heritage No. 10 is like that in reverse. Heavenly aromas open–deeply complex, equally attractive and intellectual and the longer you spend with it the more you taste and feel the puzzle pieces that lead you deeper to its base. It's what we mean when we say "structure." Eminently age-worthy, my favorite way to experience this wine is over several days. Highly, highly, highly recommended for any lover of Pinot noir.
96 points Vinous: "An expansive, spice- and mineral-accented bouquet evokes fresh red and blue fruits, and a sexy floral nuance builds as the wine stretches out. Sweet and seamless in the mouth, showing a suave marriage of depth and liveliness to the penetrating raspberry, boysenberry, cherry and rose pastille flavors. The spicy note comes back strong on a strikingly long, vibrant finish framed by polished, even tannins."
