Greatest Hits Pinots

This week, we're celebrating Oregon Pinot noir, which makes sense since this weekend is the International Pinot Noir Celebration, hosted each year in Oregon wine country.

We've put together a "greatest hits" compilation from the last month (and beyond) -- Pinots that have rocked the critics and have impressed our discerning palates.

$53.95 in any 12 bottle or Build a Case* order ($59.95 regular)
95 points Wine Advocate, our definition of Oregon Pinot. This is why Oregon Pinot continues to inspire us. Soaring, mesmerizing aromas that transport you to the sun-baked Red Hills of Dundee. The Holy Grail of grace and generosity, where you can have succulent fruit, floating on silk, intertwined with vibrant freshness. True harmony exists through a melding of fruit, spice, floral tones, and that ethereal, indescribable sweetness of Pinot noir that is a hallmark of Arterberry Maresh wines. Old vine elegance. - Marcus

Elk Cove Goodrich Pinot noir 2014
$44.95 in any 12 bottle or Build a Case* order ($49.95 regular)
94 points Wine Spectator: "Distinctly minerally, with a saline quality to the ripe raspberry and cherry flavors, coming together harmoniously against powdery tannins on the long, vivid finish. Exciting, promising a great future. Best from 2017 through 2024." - WS
Elk Cove's newest single vineyard Pinot noir, from a site they purchased in 2014, is distinct and delicious Oregon Pinot. Recalling the wines his father, Joe, used to make, Adam Campbell incorporated 25% whole clusters which lend a savory wildness to the pure, expansive, red-fruited heart of Goodrich. - Marcus
$52.15 in any 12 bottle or Build a Case* order ($57.95 regular)
93 points Wine Spectator, only 12 bottles left. "Focused, expressive and refined, layering the generous currant, blackberry, tobacco and dill flavors into a seamless package, rolling gently into a long finish..." - WS

Walter Scott Cuvee Ruth Pinot noir 2014
$35.95 in any 12 bottle or Build a Case* order ($39.95 regular)
93 points Wine Spectatoronly 6 bottles left. "Bright and lively, offering a cascade of pretty strawberry, raspberry, rose petal and white pepper flavors that come together harmoniously against powdery tannins on the finish. Drink now through 2024." - WS
$22.45 in any 12 bottle or Build a Case* order ($24.95 regular)
92 points Wine Spectator, Smart Buy: "Lithe, supple, lively and expressive, layering boysenberry, pomegranate, floral and coffee notes on a sleek frame, with powdery tannins. Finishes with presence and persistence. Drink now through 2023." - WS
We think this is a shoe-in for Wine Spectator's Top 100 of 2016. - M&A
