Deeply Fascinating and Easy to Love: Two New Pinots

Fall is in the air and we are even more enthusiastic about Pinots than normal. And that's a lot. We're especially gaga over these two new releases from our friends at Loop de Loop. You can taste the love and attention that went into making them. Both are exceptional wines and values at their respective prices, largely because Loop de Loop remains a mostly undiscovered gem of a winery. If we have to sum these two Pinots up in one sentence: deeply fascinating and totally easy to love. That's the essence of Willamette Valley Pinot and it's what is in every bottle of these two. Us: Deeply fascinating and totally easy to love. Chanterelle mushrooms on the label act as a psychological, mystical bridge to the forest, from which this deliciously autumnal Pinot emerges, grabbing by the hand the freshest-of-the-season raspberries and cherries. There's a pinch of brown spice before those red fruits turn to sweet nectar, then it returns to its forest-y chanterelle-habitat origins.

A spectacular, unique Willamette Valley Pinot noir that we're gaga over; a September Oregon Reserve Pinot Noir Club selection.

This is the second release of Loop de Loop Willamette Valley 2019. We LOVED the first release and this has even more depthyes! It's the same wine that was allowed to age in  neutral barrel on its lees for an extended period. The result is slightly darker fruited and more textural, like the first release it's still fantastic and fun! And for the money, among the handful of contenders for best value in Willamette Valley Pinot.

A blend of three excellent vineyards: Four Winds in the Coast Range, Symonette in the Eola-Amity Hills, and Johan in the Van Duzer Corridor.
