Crushing (on) These Whites, from Oregon to Piedmont

We've been crushing the white wine these last couple weeks and we are heavily crushing on the three below. A spectacular Oregon Chardonnay and two equally exceptional Piedmont whites, the real connection here isn't the color of the wines but the fact that we are completely stoked to share them with you!

"Damn this is sexy!" are the first words of my handwritten note and after a day opened, I'm sticking to it. A bright and vivacious bowlful of yellow and green citrus up front, with a creaminess in both texture and flavor that lasts as long as you let it. What emerges is everywhere from mango to minerals. You Chardonnay fans out there--you know who you are--are going to love this as much as we do!

“Pinner” is PINo NERo, 100% Pinot noir (nero), fermented without the skins, making a delicious and serious white wine, seriously delicious! An equally brilliant apertif and food wine, we've had it with charcuterie, bread and olives and with squash risotto. I can't help but compare this to some of the "luxury" white Pinot noirs from Oregon...and to say that I vastly prefer it and it's a fraction of the price.

A beautiful Sauvignon blanc from one of the greatest producers of Barolo. With less than 2 cases in hand, I won't make this sound any more attractive than it is. Suffice it to say this has been wowing dinner guests all over Portland and the Willamette Valley.
