A Winery to Trust: Bethel Heights

Hello Oregon Pinot fans,

Bethel Heights, one of Oregon's pioneering wineries, is a winery we trust every vintage and an unabashed favorite.

At the Willamette Valley Barrel Auction a couple weeks ago, Bethel Heights' 2015 auction lot was our favorite (the best) wine in the room. And they made the Oregon Chardonnay of the 2014 vintage, Justice Vineyard (yes, of the vintage, and expect similar results from the 2015).

We're not alone in our trust of Bethel Heights: Wine Spectator recently featured the winery in their Editor's Picks, 30 Wineries to Trust. Trust Bethel Heights to keep knocking it out of the park!

Bethel Heights Pinot noir Eola-Amity Hills Estate Pinot noir 2014

$28.75 in any 12 bottle or Build a Case* order ($31.95 regular)

92 points Wine Spectator: "Fresh and expressive, with depth to the plum, currant, floral and mineral flavors. Comes together seamlessly on the open-textured finish... Best from 2018 through 2024."

If it were virtually any other producer in the Willamette Valley, we'd be surprised that this wine is this good for under $30. But we've come to expect this incredibly quality and authenticity from Bethel Heights. Outstanding!

Bethel Heights Casteel Pinot noir 2014

$67.45 in any 12 bottle or Build a Case* order ($74.95 regular)

94 points Wine Advocate: "It has a crisp and very focused bouquet with dark plum, cranberry leaf and cold stone aromas that show impressive transparency. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, very harmonious and cohesive with a supple texture, very pure with great tension and precision towards the finish. What a fabulous Pinot Noir -- world class."

One of the highest rated wines in Wine Advocate's 2016 annual report on Oregon, the Casteel '14 is coming out of hibernation to express its beautiful self. A wonderful wine for the cellar, it will age gracefully for well over a decade.

We're looking forward to helping you with an order. Thanks for your support!
