A Huge Mouthful of Flavor: Bold Willamette Valley Pinot

This is the boldest sub-$30 Pinot we've offered, a huge mouthful of flavor that remains true to its Willamette Valley origins.

The story: Megan Anne is the Willamette Valley, and real life spouse of Washington’s Mark Ryan winery, one of our favorites. Megan and Mark are hardcore Pinot fans; the Willamette Valley has long been a special place to them they were married in a vineyard in the Valley's Chehalem Mountains region. For several vintages they made one Pinot noir under the Mark Ryan label and when it came time to grow the Pinot project, they reached out to famed winemaker Isabelle Meunier. If you don’t immediately recognize her name, here’s a refresher: while at Evening Land, Isabelle made Wine Spectator’s highest rated Oregon Pinot ever, the 98-point La Source 2012. Isabelle agreed to make a whole suite of Willamette Valley Pinots from top-notch vineyards and Megan Anne was off and running.

Complementing their high-end Pinots is this dynamite Willamette Valley blend. This level of flavor at this price is a rarity. You know what to do.

$29.95 in any 12 bottle or Build a Case order ($31.95 regular)

Robust and showy, a huge mouthful of flavor for a Willamette Valley Pinot, this dishes beautiful blackberry and plum up front with dark chocolate and black tea accents. The flavor intensity is expertly balanced by a vibrant freshness, which makes this one particularly gulpable. Fans of the 2018 will want a case; newcomers who taste it for the first time will be coming back for more.
