93 Points Wine Spectator, Sub-$25 Pinot: Tasting is Believing
I'll admit to overlooking today's wine but only because I hadn't yet tasted it. I saw the review when it came out–93 points and a Smart Buy designation from Wine Spectator–requested a sample, then it sat in the sample pile for a couple months. I opened it over the weekend and pow, a Smart Buy indeed! Tasting is believing and this passed the taste test with high marks.
$22.95 in any 12 bottle or Build a Case order ($24.95 regular)

93 points Wine Spectator, Smart Buy: "Showing style and personality, this Pinot is expressive with raspberry, savory forest floor and dusky spice flavors that take on structure toward refined tannins. Drink now through 2029."
Us: I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of character and substance in this sub-$25 Pinot. A heart of yummy black cherry pulses from start to finish, with subtle complexities woven throughout.
